Interbike/ Cowan's Jump Jam

Just got back from Interbike a couple days ago and it was the same as the last million times I have been there. I had a few signings to do and a couple meetings, but aside from that the show was pretty mellow for me. Of course you always have to have at least one night of partying in Vegas and since I don't do much of that it is always hard to recover after a late night.

New World Disorder 7 premiered and I had a small part in it. It sure felt like I did more filming than what was put in my segment and some of the shots of a few of my jumps didn't seem like they put in the best angles. I saw some of the stills from a few jumps that looked big and sick, but the movie didn't do them justice. Oh well, what can you do.

Cowans jump jam was today and re-did his entire yard. Pretty much all the hitters from the freeride/jump world were there. Cowan has a bit of everything now with ladder drops, railing berms, and more tech. jumps. Some riders were struggling, others like Kyle & JD had smooth flowing sick style, and then you got guys like Cam McCaul, Cowan, & Paul B. throwing some sick tricks off the last ramp jump.

Monkey just built me up a new GT Zaskar built to my spec's for jumping. Stiffer and stronger for the jump scene, along with the new Marzocchi 4x thru axle front fork. What a difference I could feel with these additions. The bike was solid and the two 360's & no handers I did were spot on, just like the bike. Sure is nice to have GT building me custom bikes and having them perfect on the first run.

ps look for a few OLD SCHOOL pics of me soon on my site with the story of why I run #55.
