Into your eyes my eyes gaze,
Remembering those happy days,
I smile and you ask me why,
But I just keep staring into your eyes.

I recall the day when we first kissed,
It was a feeling that I now miss,
With you in my arms, I was free,
Not a care in the world, just you and me,

I remember the days that I was away,
I thought of you every day,
I felt incomplete, unfinished and lost,
How would I have known what love cost,

But now as I sit staring at your eyes,
I begin to ask my self why,
Why do I feel so lost without you,
If I lost you forever, what would I do,

I'm lost again as I was before,
When my heart was broken to the core,

Because I don't have you by my side,

Withdrawn into darkness, heart torn,
Between loving you and moving on,

I miss knowing that someone was there,
