RACE FACE 2007 UXC Trans Germany – Race Reports are now online.
The race is on! Team 283 is crankin’ through the countryside as we speak. The single speed duo is fully set up with Race Face components and they’re psyched to be racing. After getting decked out in Race Face race duds and a quick tune up, Bill Fehr and Rebecca Tomaszewski are ready to rock. They’re bringin’ it North Carolina style to Deutschland!
Bill Fehr confesses in his blog that both he and Rebecca found the Euros very impressive with their lightweight full squish machines, however, he’s confident Team 283’s rigid single speed steeds will see them through. Team 283 is also quite at home in the mud and the rough terrain. They feel this may be an advantage as far as the technical riding sections of the race are concerned.
You can watch all the team videos, read team profiles and check out both Team 283 and Team Shannifer in the Race Reports section - all at www.raceface.com/uxc.
In the weeks leading up to the Trans Germany and Trans Alp and each day throughout the races, visitors to the Race Face web site will be able to learn more about our teams and follow their progress through daily updates by our support crew. The first Race Reports from the Trans Germany are now available online. The Trans Alps will follow beginning July 16th.
Between flights, accommodations, and entry fees to the contest, the value of the UXC to the winners could exceed over $20,000 USD per team. Additionally, Race Face, through it's partnerships with Trans Germany, Trans Alp, and Bike Magazin Germany will document the UXC teams' story to the masses with extensive and exclusive media coverage.
