.....and its game on.  Only missed a few days already due to fatigue and bike issues but the park is primo right now.  Only the lower mountain is kicking as we have over 10 feet of snow still melting on Garbonzo.  All the trails have seen a buff up, Aline is mint and Anrgy Pirate and Karate Monkey are the best trails going.
The first weekend was a rainy mudfest but the rest of time has brought a lot of sunshine so it is nice and tacky, perfect for make big boneyard features.  Some of last years stuff like the step-down step up combo and a much larger Staff Housing box.  The Cowan jump farm is gonna be at the bottom of the Boneyard just before the end of the Biker Cross.  Speaking of, its an interesting course the year, much bigger jumps, some whoop double sections, big berms, moto booters and technical jump sections.  Its gonna be fun.
The season has started nicely, see you on the lift......
PS and I am doing as many of the WORCA Thursday Loonie rides in the valley, getting back to the real trails in Whistler.  Its awesome.

This year's WORCA Bike Swap is this Saturday April 21st.  The SWAP will be held at the base of the Creekside Gondola just outside of Dusty's.  All proceeds from this event go to support WORCA's youth programs.

If you're interested in selling your equipment, drop off is from 8am to 10am.  Pick up for unsold gear or your cash (minus a 10% donation to WORCA) will be from 2pm until 4pm.  We will try to get cheques ready as early as possible but please be patient with us, afterall we are all volunteers and it will be a long day!

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!!  If you've got some time free to help us with setting up, taking down, wheeling and dealing, security or cashing out then please email our Director of Youth, Sean and let him know when you're free and what you'd like to help with.  We need all the help we can get so that we can make this the most successful swap yet.

If you're looking for an entry level hardtail, or a dual suspension cross-country, or last year's DH bike, AND DON'T WANT TO BUY NEW, then this bike swap is where you want to be.

It takes place just outside Dusty's at the base of Whistler in Creekside on Saturday, April 21.

Make sure you get there early to beat the crowds and you might find the used bike of your dreams...
