Here is my ride. I call it a shore line, front end is a shore rear end is an a-line. She is my fat ass beast, but sooo smooooth like menthol cigarettes. 8" travel front and rear, a little heavy 50+ lbs, think I'll put her on a diet and get rid of the monster t and slap a 888 on it.

Jeebus; Monster Ts...My ex Kona team mate had those on his Stab DH. They certainly give you a good shoulder work out...

At the moment, my main bike^, is an NZone Slacker 15" 4130 ChroMo hardtail (dirt jump), with Rock Shox Psylos (with 20mm axle), SRAM drive train (Impulse shifter, x-riveted chain, 9 spd cassette) Shimano XT rear, Truvative Husslefelt cranks, Truvative ISIS DH b/b, Truvative Husslefelt flat pedals, Titec Hellbent Ringleader DH 2" riser bars, Titec Dually grips, Titec Knockpost seatpost, DMR chain guide, DMR Saturn ring (36 h), Alex 36 h DH rims, FUNN Big Bertha front hub, Avid disc brakes (7" rotors), FSA Pig DH headset, SDG dirt jump saddle, Maxxis Holy Roller (26x2.4) F, Maxxis Holy Roller (26x2.4) R.
I'm looking at getting new front forks, so either Rock Shox Pikes, or similar...but NO more than 5.5" of travel!

Looking at getting another DH/freeride rig next year; no more than 7" of front & rear travel, so maybe a Kona Coiler Dee-Lux, Giant Faith, etc...

'06 Kona Dawg.  I replaced the grips and stem with Race Face components.  I also have some flats to switch on and off (but I was usually using the clip-ins).  Too bad I broke my leg, 'cause now this is just collecting dust.  :(
It itches down there...

I'll try and ddig up a picture of my ride. It's more a hybrid-ish mtn bike that I primarily use for exercise on local trails, getting around town to save on gas, recreation, etc.

Mine's a 1997 Giant upland. The components are ll of what came with it, no shocks

i keep promising eryn that one day i'll let her build me a bike. if i didn't live in such a sketched out neighbourhood where they steal back tires off 15 year old canadian tire bikes, i'd do it now!

My current bike is an '03 Marin Bear Valley, with lots of changed parts not at all for weight even though it's an XC bike since ontario has no freaking hills... It's got a mech Hayes HMX-1 disc on the front, new Mavic disc rim with stronger spokes, new rear spokes and LX hub and LX cassette. Azonic Handlebars, and a black spire rock ring. It's not very expensive but it works quite well for me.

The others before me just put me to shame...my new bike is still sitting at the bike shop on layaway...I hate replacing a stolen bike!

Found a good deal on a new '05 Kona Scrap.

if you want a d/h bike, go with santa cruz, intense, ellsworth or something along those lines, maybe a specialized demo 8-9. I'm saying that because  I own a norco as you saw and I love it, it's an awesome rig that'll take anything but the problem with norco, giant, kona and all those big names is that as soon as you buy it it looses half it's value... my bike is worth roughly 6k$can new but i couldnt sell it for more than 2500$ now if i wanted to and it's only 2 years old... a v10 has very low loss value, same for intense, ellsworth and other smaller companies... that's my 2 cents anyways, I love my norco but i'll never buy another one. next rig i get will most likely be a v10 or demo
this is my signature, enjoy it.

Haha yeah, everyone here who shows up with a kona is extremely dissapointed when they try to sell them cause everyone thinks they are just ex-rental park bikes and worth nothing.

I'd love to get a fancy one, but it's not looking good for this summer, maybe next summer
