Hey everyone, I figured it might be fun to have a topic about where you rode today (or anyday, the idea is just a long topic of rides). Maybe give a little description of your ride, conditions, and if you had fun!

Last night I went up into the Bike park with my friends Bexx and Ben (I felt left out without a B-name, though my last name fits in), and we only rode one trail, but boy was it a good one. We went all the way up both the chairlifts to the top of the Garbanzo chairlift. From there we rode a 3400 vertical foot descent down though just about every type of trail imaginable, tight singletrack, fast jump sections, rock drops, ladder bridges, etc. Tons of fun. Hopefully we are going to go up and do a photo run one of these days and get some pictures of the ride.

Today so far I rode my bike to work, there's a trail that goes next to the train tracks, it's only 4km or so from my house to work, so it's a nice way to start the day.

Good riding everyone!

I  was going to ride today but was a little sore after several wake sets yesterday, so tomorrow I will have to post my adventures. I usually ride my mtn bike to work, but will take different roads, paths, detours through some beautiful parks, etc. As soon as I get me a new digital camera, I will have to start taking pics of my rides and post them.

Another fun ride(though I won't have a chance to do it this year because of surgery in a couple of weeks) is 'The Route of the Hiawatha' For more info: Link to Route of Hiawatha

It's a easy but scenic ride. For more extreme mtn biking with courses and trails, a couple of the local mountains provide during the summer season.

If hell freezes over.... whoever wants to ride there may...
I choose to ride in heaven where it'll always be a powder day

No biking today, it's pissing rain and it's FREEZING out. I will hopefully get out sometime next week to the River Valley Trails by my house provided that it's not raining and that someone is willing to go with me.

Today I rode trail 6 - the first third of trail 713 or something along those lines.  It was about 5 miles up and back.  It was a quick ride and I rode it as a sprint.   It's a singltrack ride from the Mt Herman trail head up to the Mt Herman fire road.  (the 713 goes up the road to towards the pass and bails off the side of the mountain.  I'm not quite up to that yet but am working on it)

It was hot and somewhat crowded for being a Friday at noon.  So I'll pick it up again Monday.

Omg! The River Valley was SO much fun! The trails were so fun to bike through, but then again, what am I to say since it's my first time? My friend and I did find this construction spot that not too many people know about apperently...pic's will go up in my pro later tonight.

i rode... to and from work today. i wish there were good trails to get there... somehow speed bumps and potholes don't quite compare to roots and puddles.
on my way to hell in a handbasket, who wants a ride?

Rode a bunch of the hard stuff in the park on sunday, I was stoked. Joyride a few times, lower joyride for the first time this year, Rock city, Schleyer, original sin, Goats gully, and the downhill course, quite the workout on my hardtail!

Meant to go yesterday but ended up going river rafting instead, also super fun.

Ended up doing powers yesterday and we hiked the lower trails on gillard today.

My buddy is in town from Onterrible so yesterday up powers was his first ever ride in BC.  He was lovin it....in fact the dude stuck monster which is a rather large drop....probably 15x15 so after watching him do that I said screw it and went for the man made road gap up there.  She measures about 15 down by 30-35 across.  Stomped it clean right at the top of the tranny.  Such a dialed gap, i'm stoked.

eryn and i rode hartland today... nothing super fancy, but damn it was fun! i haven't been out on trails in ages and eryn was trying out her new bike, she even let me have a go at the end! i started off in style by riding straight into a tree... the brakes on the 250 are pretty shot, which i wasn't quite prepared for... so yeah. i met a tree. we're going to get those brakes replaced soon thank goodness. although, i'm sure that tree will miss me!

To the coffee shop and back...and it wasn't a very fun ride either. Gotta love it when you almost get hit by a car/truck/suv...SIX times.
