Now I know not everyone downhills, but I do think that wearing some sort of protection (not just for that, silly), is a good idea.

 

I just picked up a sixsixone pressure suit the other day, and have only worn it a few times, I'm not really used to it yet, but it's nice feeling safer-ish. Even if I am overdressed on my hardtail.

 

I've also got some old Roach leg armor and a mace full face (though I'm eyeing up the Giro Remedy, as it's pretty sweet looking).

 

What do you all rock?

i got the dainese bib pants they look something like this but have full knee pads and shin guards

 

they are expensive but great because the knee pads don't slide down your legs like regular knee pads and are not super hot.

 

i also wear the dainese safety jacket

i liked it better then the other armour i tried because it fit really nice (i don't even realize its there) and is well ventilated, for armour anyway. it is super expensive, i think over 500, but worth it

 

my full face helmet is a 661 it was cheap but works (when the strap is done up, thats another story right there). the mouth guard tends to stick out too far and i have a hard time seeing landings sometimes, i think its time for a new one i really like the troy lee design but they are retarded expensive, i will have to look around.

 

as for clothing i wear roach i like the way it fits i have pants and shorts, and wear a jersey over my armour

Got a mix of 661, Fox, & Shift armour. Got 661 chest armour (which I also use for boarder X), 661 veggie shin & knee pads, 661 2x4 elbow/forearm pads, 661 Mullet, 661 Full Bravo fullface lid, Shift gloves, & some Fox Northshore leg armour. Looking at either the Dakine or Deuter armoured backpacks for summer free-riding...may even consider Dakine gloves, as well!
