.....and its game on.  Only missed a few days already due to fatigue and bike issues but the park is primo right now.  Only the lower mountain is kicking as we have over 10 feet of snow still melting on Garbonzo.  All the trails have seen a buff up, Aline is mint and Anrgy Pirate and Karate Monkey are the best trails going.
The first weekend was a rainy mudfest but the rest of time has brought a lot of sunshine so it is nice and tacky, perfect for make big boneyard features.  Some of last years stuff like the step-down step up combo and a much larger Staff Housing box.  The Cowan jump farm is gonna be at the bottom of the Boneyard just before the end of the Biker Cross.  Speaking of, its an interesting course the year, much bigger jumps, some whoop double sections, big berms, moto booters and technical jump sections.  Its gonna be fun.
The season has started nicely, see you on the lift......
PS and I am doing as many of the WORCA Thursday Loonie rides in the valley, getting back to the real trails in Whistler.  Its awesome.

This winter was one of the best snow years Whistler has seen in a long time.  42 feet fell this year.  Most of it at the beginning.  Which makes for less crowds and more snow for us to shred.  I skied some deep snow this year for sure.  My old friend Bryan showed up for a few weeks.  He got a new camera nad was stoked to get out using it.  But its May now and its bike season.  The valley is in good shape now with a few good XC trails open like Cut yer Bars and the Zappa trails in Lost Lake.  The Whistler Dirt Jumps are getting another overhaul right now as well.  Which brings me to my new ride.  I am building up a Chromag Stylus frame.  This will be my do everything bike, Loonie rides, dirt jumps, bike park, and all day epics.  I can't wait to finish it.  Spring is here get out and ride.

Holy crap did I miss something?  I went to Ontario and New Brunswick on vacation on November 11 til the 28th.  Visited family and friends and met more of my girlfriends family too.  In the mean time I watch the internet and see the mountains of home getting pounded and WhistlerBlackcombs greatest opening since 1994.  That's was alot of snow most of you enjoyed if you live around BC.
Oh well I am back now and ruined my body the first 20cm day I was back, which was my 3rd total day and first of real charging.  Hit up Goats Path and lower VD trees, Upper Insanity, and after waiting at Peak hit up Kyber Pass and got to break trail on the ski out.  Needless to say my off saeson training didn't help too much and I wasn't in the best shape the next day.  But that was some sweet November powder.....
The snow is returning and the Christmas season is upon us.  Make some dough and let it snow.  Hopefully ya'll are having fun.
