So after reading a thread he started in the mountain bike colonie, it occurred to me that it had never occurred to me that Joe had a last name. He mentioned his last name and I was like, wait a minute here, theres another word after Joe?

I thought Joe was like Cher, or Madonna, or the one he is often compared to, God.

	No problem, this is the most confusing part of the sites for sure. You have one login (and a profile to go with that) that applies to all the communities you join. In each community your profile is displayed with whatever you want to be displayed there (for example you can choose what photo galleries you want displayed in each community). Also, when you get a comment in a specific community, by default it's only displayed in that community (though there is the radio button that says "All communities" that will show all the comments left for you, regardless of what community they were in. Messages are different in the fact that they only ever show up in once place.

	This is why when you click on the "new comments" link at the top, it should say what community each of the comments are in (though the mtb logo isn't working yet). It's confusing but we do have reasoning behind it. Maybe at some point we'll have pseudo-secret communities that you can be a member of and people won't know, and when you get a comment in that community, it won't show up everywhere. I'm sure I can word that better, but let me know if you have any questions.
